As a reminder, all appointments must be booked through our online booking application, with the exception of rebooking while in the studio for an existing appointment. This requirement is in place for several key reasons. Firstly, it ensures that a no-show protection payment is available. Secondly, it enables you, the client, to have a clear understanding of the booking application, allowing you to make changes, cancellations, or modifications to your appointment independently, without needing to contact the studio. Lastly, please note that there is no receptionist available to take calls or texts to the business number, and our contact channels are exclusively for answering service-related questions, not for booking appointments.
With Mother’s Day approaching, kindly note that all appointments, including the purchase of physical gift cards, are by appointment only. As there is no receptionist available to assist with gift-card sales, please schedule an appointment through the booking application for a ‘Gift-Card Pick Up’. If you are unable to find a suitable time online, e-gift cards are available for purchase 24/7 on our website.
Please refrain from visiting the studio and attempting to open or knock on the door when it is closed, as this may disrupt clients who are trying to relax or indicate that the studio is unattended.

Studio News.
I am pleased to share the news that my family and I are expecting a new baby. In preparation for this, I will be taking a maternity leave from August 23rd through November 23rd. My last available day will be August 22nd, and I will resume work on November 24th. Clients are welcome to prebook appointments for November while in the studio for an existing appointment prior to my leave, and my online schedule will be available for November bookings while I am on leave, with new appointments opening every three months.
I am pleased to share some exciting news with you. Laurel Massage Studio has introduced a hydraulic table to the studio. The table features adjustable height and positioning settings, including the ability to sit upright. This enhancement aims to facilitate easier access for individuals with physical limitations, enabling them to comfortably get on and off the table and adjust their position as needed. Additionally, the table is slightly wider and longer than our previous models. I am thrilled about this new addition.
What's Changing?
I would like to begin by expressing my gratitude to my clients for their understanding and flexibility regarding my frequently changing schedule. Commencing March 28th, I will be working a shortened shift every other Saturday. I have come to realize the importance of Saturday hours for some clients, and working two double shifts in a week has proven to be less than ideal for me. My schedule may be somewhat complex, but appointments are available every Wednesday, alternating between mornings and evenings, every Thursday morning, Friday morning, and alternating Saturdays.
Regarding the Saturday shift, please note that it is a limited three-and-a-half-hour time slot. Appointment requests may be denied if they fall within the middle of the shift, preventing other appointments from being scheduled. In such cases, you will be notified of the reason for the denial and provided with recommended alternative times to schedule your appointment on that Saturday.
